Watermelon Fun Summer Bucket List Printable

After many summers home with my boys, I have learned that I need to have a place to organize all of our fun summer activities and plans.

When the chorus of “We’re bored!” or even better “We have nothing to do!” comes your way, having a Summer Bucket List to pull ideas from is a life-saver.

Of course, making it a blank summer bucket list printable that you can fill in with ideas that are perfect for your family helps too.

I’ve tried printing off summer bucket list idea sheets before and several ideas just didn’t work for our family. For example, we don’t have an aquarium near us and my oldest spent an entire summer pointing to it and asking when we could go. Oops!

Make your Own Summer Bucket List

That’s why being able to make your own summer bucket list can make life a little bit easier.

We have a post full of ideas to Keep Kids Busy this Summer. It’s geared towards older kids, like Tweens ages 8 to 12, but has ideas many ages can enjoy. It would be great to pull ideas from your bucket list.

Also, you can check out tons of summer bucket list idea posts on our Pinterest Bucket List Board. Use these lists to grab ideas that work for your family and forget about the others.

Another great idea to fill up your list is to ask friends for suggestions.  A Facebook post or simple text just might let you in on fun things to do in your area.

These could be festivals, carnivals, or farmers markets that are only available for a limited time. Or playgrounds, splash pads, and state parks that work great for day trips.
