Organization

Organization = Free Time

I truly believe that taking the time to be organized, leads to a life filled with less stress & more free time. While I love a great organizational project, there are two reasons I work hard to stay organized:

Being organized gives me more free time.

It’s not earth-shattering news that Mom’s are busy. We put our children and family before ourselves frequently in the quest to stay on top of things & keep the wheels moving smoothly. This is why being organized is so important to me personally.

Without being organized, there would be absolutely no free time for the “good stuff”. Your good stuff might be a quiet bath, time to work in your garden, playing outside with your kids, or even watching a show with your sweetie. Whatever it is, you deserve to enjoy it as much as possible!

Being organized keeps me from being a stressed, anxious, edgy, frazzled, exhausted, antsy, impatient, and grumpy Mom and Wife.

These are all adjectives that very accurately describe me when life has gotten too busy and I am not prepared for it. This leads to “catch-up” late nights and coffee (lots of coffee). This becomes a cycle that makes me tired, makes me worried about getting “everything done” & makes me anxious that I am not being the Mom I truly want to be for my boys.

The reason Productive Pete came to be, was a hope to create a place to help others become more organized and productive, so that they could enjoy in their life what truly makes them happy.
