There has been such an increase in the last few years in STEM toys & activities for kids.

There is so much more to explore and give with specific interests represented so well.

So with that being said, here are my boys’ and some of their friends’ favorite STEM toys & activities. We will start with our 2019 favorite: Magformers!



Magformers are the best gifts for Kids who Love to Build

What are Magformers? They are magnetic building blocks that come in various shapes, colors & sets perfect for kids of all ages.

Most of their sets are for ages 3+, but they have sets that would make the perfect STEM gift for preschoolers, like the My First Animal Jumble Set.

Older kids would enjoy something like this Construction Set or Walking Robot Car Set.


Our favorite Christmas 2020 STEM Gift

Another year has passed quickly and it’s time to start thinking of more fun STEM Gifts!

This year, my boys are all getting Gravitrax – the Interactive Track System! If you haven’t seen these, check them out for sure!

They’re like a marble run & construction site all wrapped up into one.


Time to Check out the Marble Runs!

Marble Runs are another fun gift for kids who are builders at heart but love a good puzzle or maze too. This Marble Run Deluxe Set is for kids ages 3+ and has chunky building pieces making it perfect for younger children who are still working on fine motor skills.

My Favorite STEM Gifts to Give

Here are just a few of the STEM toys that rank as favorites. First is this Klutz LEGO Chain Reactions Kit. Kids will be able to design moving machines using the classic LEGO blocks they love.
